We will be having a "special" joint meeting @ San Carlos/Belmont Toastmasters club on Thursday, Feburary 11, 2010 (7:30-9:30pm).  (Note, there will be NO regular meeting on Friday, Feburary 12)

Who are we?

 

Officially we are a public speaking and leadership club. However, we are a lot more than that! We are one of the most diverse, supportive and fun clubs you will ever know. We have members from different age groups, ethnicities, interests and educational and professional backgrounds. We have members who win contests and those who are just beginning to speak in public. There is never a dull moment in our meetings!! Our presentations range from high tech topics such as biology & space to QVC shows selling quilts!! Our members hold offices from Area Governor to District Governor!! The list goes on and on.

Whatever your goals may be, much of your success in life will depend on your ability to speak. People who can effectively communicate possess one of the key skills necessary for successful living.
At our meetings you'll learn by doing; by actually speaking to groups in a variety of situations. Step by step you'll progress in a warm and supportive atmosphere where fun and learning go hand in hand. A wonderful side benefit is that you'll make a lot of interesting new friends.
